How Kindness Can Cure Stress and Make You Happy

In this talk based on David’s brand new book, David will share the reasons why we should give a f*ck about each other and the wonders it can do for our mental and physical health.

You’ll learn how nature actually rewards kindness and how this can manifest healthily in the body.

David will also share fascinating new insights around the science of kindness, how it supports our mental health (it can make us happier, counter stress, depression, and anxiety), and even improve the health of our hearts and immune systems.

David will also discuss some of the more challenging questions around kindness, like what to do when someone isn’t being kind to you, how to prioritise your kindness when you have limited time or resources, and other similar conundrums.

Research has shown that kindfulness boosts happiness, relaxes the nervous system, reduces blood pressure and helps to relieve muscular pain. This talk will inspire us to see the best in each other, to value each other and to treat each other with respect. David will guide us to empathize with people’s challenges, to walk a mile or two in their shoes and to do what we can to help.

In this talk, you will discover how practising the art of kindfulness can support your mental and physical health, assist with memory and concentration and help you find the true happiness, joy and contentment we all crave.
