How Kindness Can Cure Stress and Make You Happy

Dr David Hamilton invites you to incorporate kindfulness – a practice that combines mindfulness with kindness – into everyday life and explains the physical and mental benefits of living more kindfully.

Research has shown that kindfulness boosts happiness, relaxes the nervous system, reduces blood pressue and helps to relieve muscular pain. This talk will inspire us to see the best in each other, to value each other and to treat each other with respect. David will guide us to empathize with people’s challenges, to walk a mile or two in their shoes and to do what we can to help.

In this talk, you will discover how practising the art of kindfulness can support your mental and physical health, assist with memory and concentration and help you find the true happiness, joy and contentment we all crave.

David is a writer, columnist, speaker, and kindness scientist. He formerly worked in cardiovascular and cancer R&D, but is now author of 11 books including ‘How Your Mind Can Heal Your Body’, ‘Why Woo-Woo Works’ and ‘I Heart Me’.
